Belgium celebrates its national day every 21 July, and in Cancelada the date turns into a dinner. El Carnicero puts together a themed menu for the occasion, with Liège waffles — the dense ones studded with pearl sugar, eaten warm — Belgian beers and live music while you eat.
The restaurant is at Avenida Marqués del Duero 29, in the centre of Cancelada, and has a wide terrace that has cooled to a good temperature by that hour. It starts at 8 pm and it is worth booking ahead on 952 88 63 07.
