Estepona's sports marina holds 742 moorings and a row of restaurants with the Mediterranean as backdrop. A few metres away, the fishing harbour keeps the seafaring tradition alive.

Estepona's marina combines a seafront promenade with restaurants and shops set within the harbour itself.

Fishing Port

Fishing remains one of the pillars of Estepona's economy. At dawn, purse-seine boats that set out the previous evening arrive at the port and head to the fish market for the morning sale. In the afternoon, between 17:30 and 19:00, the catch from trawlers and from gillnet, handline and longline boats — which leave at dawn and return before sunset — is sold at auction.

The marina plays at night, and it has a name

On Avenida Luis Braille, Louie Louie Live Estepona puts on gigs almost every night of the weekend: touring bands, tributes, one-day festivals and English-language comedy, with the stage two metres from the crowd. Many nights are free and the season runs to December.
