On Friday 28 August, at 10:00 pm, Hugo Toscano plays in Plaza Casa Cañada, the open space beside Santa Ana Market.
The repertoire is classic pop and rock: songs from the sixties, seventies and eighties. The set list includes The Beatles, Supertramp, The Alan Parsons Project, Roberta Flack, Eagles, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder, Tom Jones, The Moody Blues, George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Elvis Presley, Bonnie Tyler and Paul McCartney. The concert is billed as 'intimate', and that is the register: guitar, voice and an audience listening close up, in the open air.
The market area has become one of the old town's liveliest quiet-nightlife spots in recent years, and this concert fits that register exactly.
Free entry.
A run through the songbook from the Beatles to Pink Floyd, outdoors and free, in the square by Santa Ana Market. A night out with no tickets and no booking.
