A full big band in a small old-town square. La Insostenible Big Band performs 'Kings of Swing', a repertoire of classics from the orchestras of the thirties and forties, on 21 August at 9:30 pm in Plaza del Ajedrez.
It is one of those concerts that works through contrast: brass, double bass and drums sounding between whitewashed façades and flower pots, with the audience seated on the terraces around.
Free entry, no booking.
Live swing in an old-town square. Few combinations work as well on an August night.
