Costa del Sol Marathon and 5th Estepona Half Marathon
Estepona's first-ever marathon, alongside the 5th Estepona Half Marathon, on a route through the seafront, old town and the Orquidario botanical park.
On 11 October 2026, Estepona reaches a sporting milestone: the 1st Costa del Sol Marathon, organised by the town council with the Estepona Athletics Club, runs on the same day as the 5th Estepona Half Marathon, already a fixture on the Costa del Sol's running calendar.
The route combines the seafront promenade, the historic centre and the area around the Orquidario botanical park, offering local and visiting runners one of the most scenic courses in the province.
