Aidalai — Mecano Tribute

On 17 October 2026, at 9:00 pm, the Teatro Felipe VI in Estepona hosts Aidalai's Mecano tribute show, a live journey through the songs that marked several generations. Numbered tickets are on sale from €22.

Aidalai brings back to the stage the songbook of Mecano, the Spanish band active between 1981 and 1992, with songs such as 'Hijo de la Luna', 'Cruz de Navajas', 'El 7 de septiembre' and 'Una rosa es una rosa'. The show pays close attention to lighting, sound and staging to recreate the atmosphere of the band's original concerts.

The project began in 2021 with Isabel Fernández on vocals, backed by a group of multi-instrumentalist musicians. Since then it has filled theatres across Spain and, by its own account, has drawn more than 80,000 spectators. The tribute's name matches the title of the album Mecano released in 1991, a Spanish number one.
