Reading Club: 'Los Kodokusha'

On 21 October, at 6:00 pm, the Library of Contemporary Cultures' reading club meets to discuss 'Los Kodokusha', by Austrian-Japanese writer Milena Michiko Flašar, a short novel about youth social withdrawal (the Japanese 'hikikomori' phenomenon) and an unexpected friendship between a teenager who has stopped leaving the house and a middle-aged man who has just lost his job.
It's an open session, for anyone who has already read the book and wants to discuss it, as well as for anyone who simply wants to listen. Free entry while capacity lasts.
An afternoon of reading club built around solitude and friendship, courtesy of one of the most distinctive voices in recent Central European fiction.
