Francophone Culture Day

Francophone Culture Day is a further date in the third edition of 'Sharing Cultures', the municipal programme that devotes a day to each of the foreign communities living in Estepona. It takes place on Saturday 3 October, from 1:00 to 9:00 pm, on the seafront promenade.

The town council's press release of 15 September, which announced the start of this edition, previewed the September dates (Italy, the UK and Ukraine) without yet detailing the October programme; this date is confirmed on turismo.estepona.es's listings, updated on 28 September, with a time and place, but without its own poster or line-up published yet. It is the fourth edition of the series devoted to Estepona's French and French-speaking community, whose weight among the town's foreign residents already prompted a similar day in previous editions.

Estepona is home to residents of 135 different nationalities, who make up around 32% of the registered population. 'Sharing Cultures' puts that diversity on display with free street events open to everyone.
