On 7 December 2026, at 7:00 pm, the Teatro Felipe VI in Estepona welcomes the Imperial Heritage Ballet with 'The Nutcracker' (tickets from €46.20), the tale in which Clara's dreams reshape reality: the toys come alive, the soldiers march past and a mysterious prince guides her through snowy landscapes towards magical kingdoms.

Performed by an international cast of dancers from nine different countries, the show combines classical ballet technique with theatrical magic, with music by Tchaikovsky and choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov. Running time around 120 minutes, with a 20-minute interval. Recommended for ages 6 and up.

The Nutcracker premiered in December 1892 at the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg, with a libretto by Petipa and Ivan Vsevolozhsky based on Alexandre Dumas' adaptation of E. T. A. Hoffmann's tale 'The Nutcracker and the Mouse King' (1816). More than a century later, it remains one of the most widely performed Christmas ballets in the world.

A Christmas classic from 1892, performed by a cast drawn from nine different countries, on the stage of the Teatro Felipe VI.
