La Movida Flamenca reaches its third edition with a line-up that does not stay inside orthodox flamenco. Zenet headlines: his blend of copla, jazz and singer-songwriter material has worked for years as a gateway for anyone previously put off by the genre. He is joined by Felipa del Moreno, Gaspar Rodríguez and Jassy Ojeda.
It takes place on Saturday 1 August at 8:45 pm in Parque El Ángel, a tree-lined space already in shade by that hour. Free entry.
It is the kind of concert that works equally well for anyone looking for real flamenco and for anyone who simply wants a good night of open-air music.
