Flamenco Night at the Peña
A night of singing, dance and guitar at Estepona's Peña Flamenca, with Nuria Martín on vocals, Maribel González and Juan Alarcón dancing and José Luis Lastre on guitar. 14 August, 9:30 pm.

In mid-August, with the seafront packed and the town in its loudest week of the year, the Peña Flamenca carries on doing what it always does: opening on a Friday night and putting flamenco at the centre of the room.
The bill for 14 August brings together Nuria Martín on vocals, Maribel González and Juan Alarcón dancing and José Luis Lastre on guitar. It starts at 9:30 pm at the peña's own premises, on Plaza de las Fuerzas Armadas.
The room is small and it fills up. Book ahead on 952 80 31 83 or 683 14 11 36.
The local alternative to the summer tablaos: the same art, no staging, and an audience that knows when to stay quiet.
