The Virgen del Carmen Coronada Open Water Swim reaches its ninth edition on 26 July. The race starts from La Rada beach, near the Plaza ABC, and is held in the waters off Estepona's coast.
The event takes place in the days following the Virgen del Carmen procession (16 July) and has a strong local, sporting character. Both competitive and recreational swimmers take part.
Registration at dorsalchip.es until 24 July. For those who don't swim but enjoy the spectacle, La Rada beach offers good views of the course.
