'Cine en la Octava' is the auteur-cinema season at the Library of Contemporary Cultures, on the Mirador del Carmen. Each session gives the evening over to one director, with the screening starting at 7:00 pm.
On 15 September it's Greek director Theo Angelopoulos, a landmark of European auteur cinema for his long takes and dilated narrative time. The season closes on 29 September with Sofia Coppola, the American director behind 'Lost in Translation' and 'The Virgin Suicides'.
Free entry with prior registration by email to bcc@estepona.es.
