AREME Coffee Morning

AREME's charity gatherings, open to anyone who wants to come along. Three September dates remain: coffee on the 7th at the marina, a charity quiz on the 17th and coffee on the 21st in Benavista.

Regular gatherings organised by the AREME association
Marina, El Paraíso and Benavista, Estepona

AREME's Coffee Mornings are informal mid-morning gatherings with a charitable purpose. They are held at a different venue each time and are open to anyone who wants to come, residents and visitors alike.

September brings three dates. On Monday the 7th, at 11:00 am, coffee at Rick's Gin & Tonic Bar, on the upper level of the marina. On Thursday the 17th, at 7:00 pm, the association switches format and runs a charity quiz at Bar Vice Versa, also in the marina: €2 for members and €3 for everyone else. And on Monday the 21st, back at 11:00 am, coffee moves inland to the Benavista Bowls Club.

Earlier there were two summer gatherings, on 3 August at Rick's and on the 17th at Neli G's Gastro Café, in the El Paraíso urbanisation.

They are a reasonably direct way to meet the international community that lives in Estepona year-round — a part of the town that passing visitors rarely see.

A mid-morning coffee with a cause — and, in September, a €2 pub quiz. It is also the easiest way to understand who lives in Estepona out of season.
