A tribute to Mario Algaze. From the private collection of Jorge Reynardus
Photography and art paying tribute to Mario Algaze, with works from Jorge Reynardus's private collection, in the Alfonso Gil Alfonso room and the central courtyard of the Tejerinas.
The Casa de las Tejerinas gives over its Alfonso Gil Alfonso room and its central courtyard to a tribute to the photographer Mario Algaze, with pieces from the private collection of Jorge Reynardus.
The courtyard, with its skylight and the arcaded gallery around it, is the best place in the building to look at photographs: the light falls from above and you walk it slowly. Opening hours are Tuesday to Friday 9 am–8 pm and Saturday 9 am–2 pm and 4–8 pm, with free entry. No closing date has been announced, so it is worth checking before you go.
Photography under the skylight of the Tejerinas courtyard. It is the coolest corner in the centre at midday in August.
