Summer Tribute Musicals
Three open-air musicals made for families: 'The Lion King', 'K-Pop Hunt' and 'Alice in Wonderland', free of charge and in three different parks.
Estepona's summer tribute musicals work the same way every year: a stage goes up in a park, the start time is set at 9:30 pm and families arrive with folding chairs. They are cover shows, with costumes and choreography, designed so that children last from start to finish.
There are three in 2026. On 30 July, the tribute to 'The Lion King' in Parque de Los Niños. On 6 August, 'K-Pop Hunt' in Parque El Calvario, aimed squarely at a teenage audience. And on 20 August, 'Alice in Wonderland' in Parque El Ángel.
All of them are free and outdoors. It is worth arriving early: the parks fill up and the front rows go fast.
An evening plan with children that never fails: an open-air musical, free, at an hour when the heat has finally eased.
