About this place
The route begins at the Plaza de las Flores and takes in twelve points of the historic quarter: streets, minor squares, sculptures integrated into the urban fabric and spaces that do not appear on standard itineraries. The estimated time is an hour and a half at a relaxed pace. The council distributes a printed map from the tourist office, and the route can also be followed using the markers set into the pavement. It is especially worthwhile on a weekday morning, when the old town is at its quietest and each corner holds a silence that disappears at weekends.
